NOEL Tunes the Cosmos for Maximum KILLERWATTs

NOEL controls all frequencies all the time.

NOEL at the Controls said he wouldn't play any 13th Floor Elevators tunes on this show, his thirteenth masterfully crafted program straight outta Signal Hill, Brooklyn. Go figure. KILLERWATT Program Director Vin CYCLONE knew it would be alright. Triskaidekaphobists need not fear. We think you'll agree. Prepare yourself for a musical journey through the cosmos. You ain't comin' back, neither. Etymology trivia: Friday might be named after Freya, the Norse equivalent of Venus. Thirteen is her sacred number. Click above to listen.

NOEL Makes It a Dirty Dozen

Noel, at the Controls is on tour and couldn't be at the award ceremony, therefore KLW Engineer Chad Burger stands ready to accept tonight's Peabody Award on his behalf, should need be.

Eleven consecutive Peabody Award winning programs is a good run. Tonight, Noel broadcasts what we think will cinch an even dozen. Bring on the accolades.

Y
our Captain of all things acoustic pictured above at the helm of a Soundcraft mixing console. We're proud to say, Noel sails the skywaves exclusively for the KILLERWATT.

Retro SCOTTSO Croaks a Blue Streak

Retro SCOTTSO in front of his favorite haunt.

KLW Dead-Jay Retro SCOTTSO blazes a blue streak above Brooklyn skies, like a comet jockey with a microphone. If blues be the sound of a sinner on revival day, then tonight's Retro SCOTTSO show is a chorus of the damned wailing on Gibson Les Paul Gold Top guitars.

Plus, Things From Indie: Independent artists picked by the Dead-Jay himself. You're clued-in!

April Fools Eviction Not Funky

We wish it was another media hoax. Sadly, true.

Vin CYCLONE tells you how he got ripped off in the 80s. What a memory! Then, without missing a beat, he spins badass sounds that'll turn your long drive down the eternal, dark, desert highway into an epiphany. He wrote that last thing about the desert on a note, handed it to us, and made us write it on the blog post. FYI.

Plus a delicious Tokyo Triple. Find out about Eve and other utaite singers here.

Chad and Vin got delectable udon (noodle soup) delivery from Maruka Udon in Jinbocho. Git some!
